Seems like a lot of trouble if you have to make two of the ingredients yourself.

But that could make it good to bring to group event since most won't make it on their own.

Some of the specialty ingredients arrived today:

- Organic Cacao Butter
- Organic Cacao Nibs
- Whole Vanilla Beans

Yet to arrive:

- Gum Arabic Powder

Also need to pick up the booze:

- Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Rum
- Diplomatico Rum Mantuano

2 oz Mount Gay (Eclipse or XO both work but I prefer Eclipse)

¾ oz lime

½ oz grenadine

1 dash Angostura

Shake, strain into a cocktail glass.

THat's it. No faggoty shyt. Everyone will love it and you've just poured an authentic Prohibition-era drink.

You are mistaking "not cloyingly sweet" for harshness. You also seem to think that the taste of fine liquor is somehow off-putting to women.

Actually, women love Swashbuckers.

It is a perfectly balanced drink, which even very girly women have enjoyed at our parties.

THinK: rum (structure); lime (acidity); grenadine (fruit + sugar, not candy if used properly); Angostura (bitterness + spice).

If you tell them they are drinking a speakeasy favorite, it even has history and a romantic story. A melted Carvel Cookie Puss ice cream cake does not.

It's the ORIGINAL crowd-pleaser. Women do not want to drink 300+ calories. Not one lady on Earth would choose something so sugary.

A Swash is lower in calories than most glasses of red wine.
