This worries me, as I was wearing headphones 6-10 hours a day when doing installations, and it appears that a lot of people in our age bracket are being diagnosed with cancer. I guess I will be moving over to a Bluetooth speaker...

I bought them unheard.

Speakers are so influenced by the room they are in that there is no reason to listen to them before buying. The only way you will know how a speaker will sound in your room is to listen to them in your room.

People get cancer. Not much you can do about it outside of some extreme activities like smoking or drinking or working in a taconite mine.

I am definitely not abandoning headphones. But sometimes it is nice to listen to speakers. These will go in my sitting room for occasional music listening and to act as the TV speakers in that room.
