Canadian Fires are Fuqed! Air Quality Index exceeded 800

Air quality has been particularly poor in Minnesota and Michigan this week. In parts of northern Minnesota on Friday, the Air Quality Index exceeded 800. At certain points on Thursday, it surpassed 1,000 — the highest in the country. For reference, an AQI above 100 is considered unhealthy, while a reading over 300 is considered hazardous.

Everyone should buy air purifiers and n95 masks to keep on hand for this reason. Not just those in the affected areas now because by the time something like this happens in your area, it's usually too late to get this stuff.
