Achkchually they are still studying the long term effects of space radiation, two things that seem to have come up with the older astronauts is heart disease (probably not the radiation but still a mystery given the extraordinarily healthy sample population) and most of all cataracts.
We still have not seen the effect of actual long term (years, decades) space radiation exposure.

Shouldn't that be, "WE NOW THINK Earth's core is cooling at rates faster than we previously thought?"
(And for the sake of better writing, shouldn't it be, "We now think Earth's core is cooling faster than we previously thought?" "Faster" rather than "at rates faster".)
