Also Daytona is recovering nicely.  Estimates were all power restored by Oct 4 but it looks like they will be early.  95% of traffic lights are on and almost every road is usable.

They might not have much either, as their cold storage would have been affected.

I have MREs I keep around for multi day power outages, although it seems that PG&E has fixed many of the problems and they don't tend to happen anymore.

Run over to Ormond Beach and tell me what the area looks like around North Halifax Drive and Royal Palm Avenue.  Tell me if we should come home next week.

I was by Ormond (Williamson and Granada).  Looked decent, power on at the Walmart.

I was also beachside but only in Daytona.  Didn't get North to Ormond beach side.  I will swing by today though probably and check it out!  Lots of trees over there so it could have issues....

In retrospect I would like one of those massive batteries one of Elon's companies sell.  Those are designed to provide 12-24 hours power.  Really they are designed to be used in a solar system but you could in theory use them with a main system recharge.
