Yes, they are accomplishing their intent: to cause havoc.  The primary tactic of Marxist agitators is to produce political and administrative sclerosis, believing that societal sabotage will result in a collapse that they can exploit in their pursuit of revolution.  This is a fundamental, stated strategy advocated by all Communist orgs, and it is how they have achieved every Communist revolution throughout history. 

They are also accomplishing a secondary goal, which is to give the impression that many, many more people are outraged by any of this than in reality actually are.
