I get what you mean, OP. Something off about the PBR carbonation and "industrial metallic" taste IMHO.
Pabst Light is quite decent though - Similar to Miller Lite.
Currently $9 for a 12-pack at Jewel. Worthy libation in a pinch for summer hydration and World Cup parties.
