I got into the hobby again a year or two ago. It's a lot easier with moden paints and super glue. Got bored with it pretty quickly though.

My experience was in the 1980s. Not the 1970s. Solidly GenX here.

Remember doing a B26 bomber and some other planes more than cars.

My bedroom ceiling had the RAF at one end and a Luftwaffe bombing run coming from the other.
The USAF were nowhere to be seen, of course.
