I don't give a fuq about gold either way, but Soros himself baffles me. The guy has one foot in the grave and an octillion dollars he'll never, ever be able to spend because he'll be dead soon. Wouldn't you want to take at least a few years at the end of your life to simply chill the fuq out and enjoy the splendor of the sunset? Especially if you had led a life with such impressive achievements as Soros. I mean, what's the point of being a billionaire if you are still screeching and frothing and trying to hustle at age 90-something?

Even more pertinent, why isn't Soros directing his vast fortune into radical life extension research and development?

He aleady has. He and Kissinger are on the same life extenstion program. The trick now is managing to kill 95% of the world's population before the technology leaks to the plebian unwashed masses. Otherwise, population will quickly skyrocket to a truly unsustainable level, as everyone lives for 500 years and sucks at the teat of social security and pensions for centuries, all the while breeding exponentially more people who will do the same.

Very true.  Some people just really enjoy the game and at this point, it is probably all he knows.
