Economic cycles are a truth. The government cannot eliminate them. It can change them a little, but ultimately, this is aggregate human behavior.

The fed has been too loose for years and years, its bi-partisan.

The best thing, reduce demand, and wait for supply to catch up.

I will say that one of the key points to fixing supply involved good trade negotiations, which neither Democrats nor Republicans are capable of doing.
