I was OK with lying horndog Bill Clinton, and after that OK with boring & awkward Al Gore. Lieberman as VP pick was a nice gesture. Mostly I didn’t care that much, no invading beaners mooching everywhere, no rabid incompetent DEI forced into positions beyond ability, no pronouns & trannies, nothing too out there, just ho-hum boring. Large major in college had a couple of DEIs, everybody understood they were necessary token charity cases & they were never expected to understand the material or do well - like when a grocery store hires a couple of Down’s syndrome kids to help out. It was hardly worth voting at all, both sides were mostly rational. Then Jeb seemed good enough, had done a good job kinda with Florida during hurricane devastation, whatever. There wasn’t much difference and my independent status allowed me to sit out primaries (didn’t care) and vote for whoever I wanted in the finals. Leaned republican because they seemed more successful and traditional, but it wasn’t a given.
