A day or two ago a news story came out about SoftBank not being able to get a loan using their OpenAI shares as collateral. Today another detail came out… the request that multiple banks turned down was for a $60B loan using $600B in OpenAI shares (at most recent private equity placement value).
10/1 ratio and no bank would touch it.
Private equity investors in AI are fuqed up the ass, retail bagholders/suckers desperately needed.
