Fiber News! Turns out I can bypass the wireless and use the ethernet ports

Might set the whole network up as a backhauled, and wifi for the tv's and tablets.

So far it's going well, though it took me all day to figure out to clear the DNS entries in my preferences to get ethernet to work with the eero extender.

1) you aren’t using the term “backhaul” correctly. Don’t pretend to know shyt you don’t know.

2) you absolutely do not need Cat7. Most people are surprised to learn that Cat5e usually works fine for 10Gbps.

Good advice for everyone, I think. i also asked google, and my cat6 is fine for runs shorter than 150ft.

You have to upload via the app, or it fills a local cache. And it doesn't like "-" in file names when you go to delete directories.

I'm trying out some local compression options for directories with numerous entries that don't require zero awareness encryption. It also doesn't upload directly to the encrypted folder and requires drag and drop to move things into it.

The service totally scans all your uploaded stuff to congregate photo and music players listings, but not the crypto folder. You can unlock the crypto folder and play files from it.

If you are using fiber, I suppose that also means you are regular.
