Every Sunday, the Kultgen-Popp family gathers on Zoom and yells at one another. The family members lob contradictory headlines at one another, trading irreconcilable claims about the war in Iran, the Epstein files and other breaking news stories. These arguments always end with each exhausted family member saying, “I love you.” Then Chad, 50, who generally leads these debates, shares the video on YouTube in the form of a podcast called “The Necessary Conversation,” typically drawing more than 100,000 viewers an episode.
