Stay away from any grills.

You might get dirt on your hand!

What flavor of tetanus are you preparing this evening?

Tom’s griddle is piss weak Chinese crap.

Spanky has the real man’s quarter inch steel plate.

Best way to prep a griddle: Get it nice and hot, pour a can of beer over it. Let it boil away.
You are ready to go.

I don't understand why you need a griddle.  I could see wanting one if you're smoking a brisket or doing something else that takes all day.  But you're not smoking a brisket on a gas grill.

Why not just fry something up in your kitchen?

Even in the case of smoking a brisket I always used a cast iron skillet (properly seasoned of course)

You'd have to have like a million people over to justify a griddle.

I honestly only use it once or twice a year to make smash burgers (OKC burgers). Actually haven't made them this year since it has been so humid and miserable outside. Maybe as it cools down.

See above post for my use case.

And, back during COVID lockdown, I did do a brisket on that grill.

Way too much work and no interest in doing it again.

Here I am standing in line to get the meat:
