Quite apart from the headache and vomiting, the dehydration has given me appalling constipation. When I finally managed a shyt, it felt like it was coming out sideways.

Almost a day later I still feel like ass.

Why do we do it?

I wouldnt know. I havent had a drink in like 32 ? years

But when it becomes habitual or a must each day you got a problem

I generally do not get hangovers. But then the most I drink is a couple of beers here and there

NE more than that or drinking until you pass out is a problem

If that's you... get help

Obviously, it's time for you to get sober...but please do your best not to be an obnoxious sober drunk like OLG.

Addiction is tough. Sorry. There are no magic wands. 

Have you tried Rational Recovery / AVRT / SMART?

Probably a better fit for the types of intellectual fuqfaces that post on CI.

I almost never drink now.
It has zero appeal.

Maybe some Ouzo, maybe a Whiskey.
Otherwise, meh.
