Phillip_McCavityWinston can't eat his cat food. His teeth hurt too much.
So I gave him chicken baby food.
That was delicious and I ate it all!

Getting him sufficient calories with just broth or gravy is very difficult.
I'm hoping he gets over the tooth issues enough to handle pate again. I can get him
high calorie pate and its great for him.

Who costs more to feed, Winston or Showergirl?

Don't know if this will help but we have tried our cats on everything. Just about every Premium cat food out there. Tikki Cat even had lamb and duck meat but what they like the best is Fancy Feast (not really premium) but it's what they like best, they like the Gravy Lovers the best, and it is easy on the teef but of course not as good for them as the pate (has more fillers). We haz two Ragdolls and a Maine Coon that I named Bernie because he is lazy and believes in socialism.
Our 3 indoor kitties and we got about 10-12 Barn cats with the house. We also have three German Shepherds and a Bernese Mountain Dog

It's not that good, no. It has filler. We feed them Science Diet dry as well. But it's about the only thing that Bernie will eat. You know how Socialists are...

Mine will only eat Fancy Feast and Sheba. Cuts mostly, rarely pate. I wish she'd eat pate more because it's better for her but I find it cruel to try to force her to eat something and sometimes they have good reason not to like a batch or food. I try to give her a variety too, not just the same thing over and over. I wasted over $100+ easily trying to feed her the more healthy stuff like the Tiki Cat nights (or whatever it was). She buries it like it is her feces in the litter box.

Yeah doggos will eat almost anything but you can't force a cat to eat something they don't like. Bernie hates everything except Fancy Feast (as far as wet food goes). At lest the Barn cats are a lot less picky. Recon cat, Scooter, Toofless, and Raven will eat darn near anything.

Pictures of kitties! And showergirl loves Burmese.
Winston has triaditis and can't deal with Fancy Feast. When he eats, I have him on hydrolyzed. The emergency back up food is human chicken or turkey baby food.
Some of the science diet foods work for him.
He doesn't like tiki cat much. Fine with me, that shyt's expensive.
