An former Israeli military intelligence specialist is facing imminent deportation from the US following detention by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to The Jerusalem Post.

ICE officials stated that they apprehended Allison Alon—referred to in agency notices by her former name, Avishay—during targeted operations in Concord, New Hampshire.

Alon’s arrest follows a criminal conviction for kidnapping, criminal threats involving a deadly weapon, and drug possession.

Before relocating to the US, where she secured senior engineering roles at major technology firms like Amazon and Microsoft, Alon served in Unit 81, a highly classified technological division within the Israeli military's intelligence directorate.

Her legal troubles began in September 2024 when she and an acquaintance detained a male acquaintance at gunpoint in Dover, New Hampshire, mistakenly suspecting him of slipping a date-rape drug into her water bottle. Police foiled the kidnapping after arriving to investigate a suspicious vehicle and hearing the victim's cries for help.

Tried as a male suspect despite identifying as a woman, Alon received a sentence of two to six years in a state prison. Her subsequent legal battles involved challenging her incarceration in a men's facility and demanding transgender medical care. Keekeekee
