We are going to be reliving the 30s quite soon.
40s were the greatest bait-and-switch of all time. Are we going to make it after all? And the Germans didn't quite reach Moscow and no we are not.
50s were when the Jews decided to give the wartime generation a cool-down period before letting the other shoe drop. It is therefore hated by the usual suspects up-thread who think anything short of illegal Latinx transfags in pretty frocks buggering crack addicts in the town square is 'conformism'.
If the 60s were so great, explain boomers.
70s had full bush and peak De Niro (it has been a long way down since)
80s had Kate Bush, who was fuqing delicious in her prime but unfortunately ushered in the fad for female vocalists with yelpy voices. Wheels beginning to fall off metal. Women had fuqtarded haircuts. Advent of fuqing rap.
90s had the last flush of traditional animation, and there is nothing else good to say about it at all. Music went to shyt, PC set in in earnest, and mainstream music was a straight choice between whyte / wigger shyt and depressing wristcutter crap. Goodfellas was fuqing excellent but it's not much to show for a whole decade.

I found The King's Speech and The Darkest Hour to be pretty damned good. Movies with a great storyline, great acting, and no AI special effects.
A good movie depends on a great story.
