CI is not built to be as resilient as Google.

Not anymore. Only 8.2 and newer were patched because they're still supported.
At the end of the year, 8.2 will become unsupported.

The pain level would have been low here but the server is a cluster fuq of DK Spanky trying to do Linux stuff and DK shlomo just randomly changing shyt to make things work.
